Updated: Thursday morning, December 27th
Reported by: Meteorologist Steve Newton

The majority of the snow has moved out of the region as the system that brought a good dose of snow to Central Pennsylvania moves into New England. We will be rather cloudy today with winds strong at times. A wind advisory is in effect from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. today for Cambria, Blair, Huntingdon, Somerset, Bedford, and Fulton Counties for potential wind gusts around 50 mph. Counties not under the wind advisory could still see gusts of 40-45 mph throughout the day.

Some flurries will be left over for Friday morning and the clouds will break for a little sun. Temperatures will be holding in the low to mid 30s for Thursday and Friday.

A system will pass us to the South over the weekend, bringing the potential for snow. Good news is the accumulation will be light, with the many communities receiving just a few inches of snow.
