Updated Wednesday Evening December 26th
Reported by Meteorologist Regina Miller

The large storm system that dropped as much as a foot of snow in parts of the region is pushing northeastward out of the region.  It will taper to scattered snow showers overnight.  Lows will hold steady in the mid to upper 20s.

Wednesday will be variably cloudy and windy with gusts 25-35 mph with scattered snow showers and some flurries, especially in upslope areas.  Highs will be in the upper 20s to the low 30s.

Friday there may be a few flurries around.  Otherwise we will have clouds and sun.  Highs will be in the low 30s.

Another system approaches the area on Saturday.  Once again we will be dealing with some snow, however nowhere near as heavy as what this last round brought.  Saturday's system will be a fairly quick mover and will generally spread just some light accumulations to the region.

Sunday we will have clouds and some breaks of sun with a few scattered snow showers or flurries and highs in the mid to upper 20s.

Our next chance for some scattered snow showers will come again on New Year's day, with highs in the mid 20s.
