Sunday will have a mix of sun and clouds, with more sunshine in the afternoon. It'll be a fairly chilly start with morning temperatures in the upper teens and low 20s, but warming into the low and mid 30s for the afternoon.
Clouds will increase again the morning of Christmas Eve ahead of a disturbance that will arrive in the middle of the day. We have a rain and snow mix, starting with more snow than rain and becoming a better mix in that evening. The disturbance will move out of the region during the early hours of Christmas morning, leaving some flurries that will end later in the morning. Clouds will break throughout Christmas and temperatures will warm into the mid and upper 30s.
Another disturbance will move in Wednesday, and this one looks like it is packing a punch. I've been watching this system since last weekend and we could have rain, snow, and ice with this storm. It's a little too early to tell exactly what we will see, so check back during the holiday as we get a better idea of what is coming our way.
