Updated: Saturday Evening, December 15th
Reported by: Meteorologist Steve Newton

Bands of rain will be moving through during the evening and through the night, but a lot of the energy associated with this system is falling apart, so some communities could stay dry going into Sunday.

We'll have rain at times Sunday with high temperatures in the 40s. Monday will be a little warmer with southwesterly winds before another round of rain arrives in the afternoon and evening.

Temperatures will start mild Tuesday but cool going into the afternoon. There is a chance of some snowflakes mixing in with the rain before the precipitation ends.

Wednesday will be a break with a slight chance of flurries or snow showers and Thursday will have another round of rain. This unsettled pattern will continue into the weekend where colder air will move in with a chance of snow.
