Big changes today in the forecast. After breaking records yesterday with temps topping out in the mid to upper 60s. Today will be up to 30 degrees colder and windy. A cold front has pushed off to our east. After overnight highs in the mid to upper 40s, temps will fall today into the mid to upper 30s. There will be a mix of clouds and sun, and with a brisk northwesterly wind, we may see some flurries around, mainly in the northwestern parts of the region. Tonight winds will start to die down. We'll have just a few patchy clouds around and it will be cold with lows in the low to mid 20s. Tomorrow an area of high pressure will give us plenty of sun. Highs will be in the low 40s. The sunshine goes away for the remainder of our forecast period. Friday will become mostly cloudy with some showers around. Highs will be in the low 40s. Once we get into this weather pattern it will remain mild and damp through the weekend into the beginning of next week. We will have showers around this weekend. Although it will not be a washout, there could be some showers at any time. It will also be foggy with little day to day trend to milder air with the mercury reaching into the 50s by Monday. The next front will bring periods of rain with perhaps even a thunderstorm on Tuesday followed by another brief blast of chilly air for the middle of next week.
