Updated Tuesday Morning, March 5th
Reported by Meteorologist Regina Miller

Today we will have some sun before a system starts to advance toward the region.  Highs will be in the upper 30s to near 40 in a few spots.  Clouds will start to increase in southern parts of the region later in the day with a few snow or mixed showers possible near the turnpike late or by sunset.

Tonight a winter storm will bring snow to the region as it passes to our south.  We will see amounts ranging from just a trace to a few inches near I-80 and northward, to well over a foot of snow for areas near the Pa turnpike and southward.   Snow will make for treacherous travel during the morning commute especially along Route 22 and southward.

Tomorrow snow continues for the first half of the day.  Snow will start to progress eastward, but still impact areas to the east of I-99  through the late afternoon.  Highs will be in the mid 30s.

By Thursday there could still be a few flurries around with variable cloudiness.  Highs will be near 40.

By the weekend, we'll be getting some sunshine finally in the forecast with warmer temperatures in the upper 40s to low 50s by next week.
