Tuesday will start partly to mostly sunny, but the next system will be passing us to the south by the evening. Clouds will increase for much of the region throughout the day with the potential for snow showers in the evening. There will be travel disruptions for the southern part of the viewing area Wednesday. Snow will fall heavy at times Wednesday for much of the region, with the highest accumulations in the southern part of our viewing area.
The system that will bring the snow shower potential is fast-moving, and the sky will start clearing Thursday. Warmer air will begin moving in for the weekend, with temperatures reaching above seasonal averages by the weekend.
