The wind will diminish the rest of today and any morning clouds should give way to plenty of sunshine. This storm will pull down cold air from Canada so it will be a chilly day despite sunshine with highs only in the upper 20s to the middle 30s. The wind will calm down Saturday night, and with a clear sky, it will be cold with lows in the teens. The chill will not last long though as the high pressure system will slide to the east and the mercury will rebound into the 40s in many places on Sunday with a sunny to partly cloudy sky. The next system will cut to our west and will bring a period of rain on Monday. We'll have a break on Tuesday with clouds and some sunshine before the next system brings some rain and snow showers on Wednesday. Another break is likely on Thursday with some more rain and snow showers likely by the end of the week. The one thing is for sure is that while it will be seasonably chilly, any severe arctic cold looks unlikely.
