Updated Midday Tuesday, January 15th
Reported by Meteorologist Regina Miller

This afternoon clouds will begin to thicken.  Highs will be in the mid to upper 30s.  A disturbance will bring us areas of snow and a wintry icy mix.  A Winter Weather Advisory has been issued for the counties of Clearfield, Cinton, Centre, Cambria, Blair, Huntingdon, Mifflin, Somerset, Bedford and Fulton counties from 7 pm this evening until 11 a.m. on Wednesday.

Tonight an area of low pressure will move northward along the front to bring us a period of light snow near and north of I-80 and an icy mix of sleet/ freezing rain and snow to the south.  Areas such as Eastern Clearfield, Centre, Clinton could see 1-3 inches of accumulation.  Counties along the Route 22 corridor will get an icy mix that could accumulate up to an inch by morning.

Tomorrow we will have some snow or mixed showers around early, then cloud may break for some sun for the afternoon.  Highs will be in the mid to upper 30s.

Thursday a cold front heads our way.  It will be blustery, windy and temperatures will drop from early highs in the low to mid 30s.  There will be some snow showers and flurries with perhaps a brief snow squall as the colder air pushes in.

Friday will be colder with highs in the upper 20s to around 30 with a mix of clouds and sun.  We'll have clouds and sun for Saturday as well.  It will be a bit warmer with highs topping out in the mid to upper 30s.

Sunday another front reinforces the colder air.  It will be variably cloudy, windy and cold with scattered snow showers and highs in the upper 20s to near 30.
