Updated Friday Midday, January 11th
Reported by Meteorologist Regina Miller

A system moving through this afternoon will spread areas of rain across the region.  Highs today will be in the upper 30s to low 40s.

A few lingering showers will be around early tonight.  Otherwise we will have some fog or patches of leftover drizzle late.  Tomorrow, after some early fog/ mist, we'll have clouds breaking for some sun at times.  Highs will average in the low to mid 50s, with upper 50s (to near 60 in areas to the southwest of I-80 and route 219.

Sunday's temps will be even higher with a warmer southwesterly windflow ahead of a front.  Highs will be in the upper 50s to around 60, despite some clouds and showers.

Monday remains unsettled.  There may be a period of showers or perhaps a steadier brief rainfall as a front stays across the region. Highs will be in the mid to upper 40s.

At this point timing of the passage of that front is still uncertain.  It may push southeastward by Tuesday leaving only leftover showers early before some colder air arrives.  Or it may stay accross the region through the day with a period of rain before the colder air arrives on Wednesday.
