We'll have periods of rain today with some snowflakes mixing in at higher elevations before we start drying out. High temperatures will be recorded this morning as cooler air will start moving in, temperatures by this evening will be down in the mid and upper 30s. The majority of wind gusts will be in the 30-40 mph range, with higher gusts possible on ridges.
Some flurries return for Wednesday morning with a fairly nice day overall: High temperatures in the 40s with a mix of sun and clouds. Thursday will be another mild day before rain and possibly a rumble of thunder arrive in the evening.
Cooler air will move in with this next system, with high temperatures for the first days of winter in the upper 20s to mid 30s. We'll have snow Friday and Saturday with some flurries left over for Sunday. Right now Christmas Eve is looking dry, but cool.
