Updated: Monday Night, December, 3rd
Reported by: Chief Meteorologist Joe Murgo

What a difference a day will make. The record breaking warmth is over. Behind a cold front, Wednesday will be windy and colder with times of clouds and sunshine. Temperatures will actually hold steady and even fall during the daylight hours. Wednesday night will be seasonably cold then Thursday will be chilly despite a good deal of sunshine with highs in the lower 40s.  Our break will be brief though as the next system will bring clouds and showers Friday. In fact, it could turn into a steadier chilly rainfall with temperatures struggling into 40s. Once we get into this weather pattern it will remain a mild and wet pattern through the weekend into the beginning of next week. While it won't rain all of the time Saturday, Sunday and Monday there will be a few periods of rain through that time period. It will also be foggy with little day to day trend to milder air with the mercury reaching into the 50s by Monday. The next front will bring periods of rain with perhaps even a thunderstorm on Tuesday followed by another brief blast of chilly air for the middle of next week.
