To open the season, the Tomahawks will head to Port Huron, Michigan to do battle with the Fighting Falcons on Saturday, September 8th and Sunday, September 9th. The team will return to Johnstown on Saturday, September 29th for the first home game of the season against the division-rival Michigan Warriors.
Johnstown will play a total of 28 home games this season, taking place mostly on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. The Tomahawks will also have home ice advantage for a variety of special dates this season, including Veteran's Day and a thrilling New Year's Eve tilt with the Kalamazoo Jr. K-Wings.

Earlier this month, the NAHL, which consists of 24 teams spread across 13 states, announced new divisional alignments for the 2012-2013 season, placing the Tomahawks in the North Division among seven other organizations. Johnstown will face teams in their division 48 times this season.
Four of the team's early regular-season games will take place September 12-15 at the Schwan Super Rink in Blaine, Minnesota for the 10th Annual NAHL Showcase Tournament. All 24 NAHL teams will participate.
Saturday March 9th marks the team's final home game of the season. They will play their final game in Jamestown, New York on Saturday, March 30th, the same day the League concludes its season. The post-season playoff run for the 2013 Robertson Cup Championship begins May 9, 2013.
