Polamalu Takes AP Defensive Player of the Year

Steelers Safety Troy Polamalu is the AP's Defensive Player of the Year. He had 17 votes, 2 more than Green Bay's Clay Matthews.
Polamalu was a big play machine in both of Pittsburgh's playoff wins over Baltimore and New York.
Teammate James Harrison came in 3rd in the voting.
