(PITTSBURGH, PA) - One day after learning starting running back Rashard Mendenhall
suffered an ACL tear Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin announced to the
media today that safety Ryan Clark will not play Sunday against the
Broncos in Denver.
Clark has sickle cell anemia and the last time he played in Denver in 2007 he had a reaction to the elevation and doctors were forced to remove his gall bladder and spleen.
Tomlin said Ryan Monday will start in Clark's absence.
