CLEARFIELD COUNTY - In 2007, Megan Lanich's 3 and 5 year old sons died in a fire. The boys loved animals.

"We had a Rottweiler who didn't like too many people my kids could jump and use him as a trampoline" she said.

She is planning a 40 vendor fair on Saturday March 2, from 11:00am - 7:00pm in the Expo 1 Building at the Clearfield County Fairgrounds.

Last year, they were able to donate $700 and  this year they hope to donate at least $1,500.

For her, hosting the event is a way to give back to the community that gave her family so much support.

"They just came together and it was great. It was awesome to have the support of the community" she said.

Everyone in attendance is encouraged to wear their favorite paw print article of clothing and to bring an item the SPCA wish list.
