January Busy Month for the American Red Cross

HARRISBURG, DAULPHIN COUNTY - January was a busy month for the American Red Cross across central Pennsylvania. 

According to Penn Live - the charity responded to 41 disasters throughout last month, primarily house fires. 

The organization helped 81 families, or 225 people that were displaced from their homes. 

It's the second month in a row the organization had a high level of activity - in December they responded to 52 fires.
