Updated: Sunday Evening, February 3rd
Reported by: Chief Meteorologist Joe Murgo

The chilly and unsettled weather pattern continues. A series of fast moving disturbances will affect our weather over the next several days. The overnight hours will remain rather cloudy with scattered flurries and snow showers. While there will not be too much, there will be a fresh covering to perhaps an inch in a few spots. With the clouds, temperatures will not fall too much with lows in the lower to middle teens. Monday will start off with some clouds and scattered flurries, but then a fast moving and fairly weak clipper system will slide across the area during the afternoon into the nighttime hours bringing a fresh couple of inches to the region. There still could be some leftover flurries early then clouds may break for some sunshine Tuesday. It will be seasonably chilly, but not as cold as recent days with the mercury reaching to near 30 in many spots. Another disturbance will bring some flurries or a bit of snow later Tuesday night into early Wednesday then clouds may break again during the afternoon. Thursday will be a milder day with a mix of clouds and sunshine. A disturbance will bring some clouds and some sprinkles or flurries Friday then the weekend will feature at least some sunshine with highs in the 40s.
