Tomahawks to Welcome Penguins for Charity Game

JOHNSTOWN - The Johnstown Tomahawks and Pittsburgh Penguins are teaming up for the first ever Johnstown Tomahawks Charity Classic, the NAHL Tomahawks announced Thursday. The charity game will take place 7 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 9 at the Cambria County War Memorial Arena and feature National Hockey League and Tomahawks players.
 
NHL players Marc-Andre Fleury, Brooks Orpik, Jordan Staal, Matt Cooke, Chris Kunitz, Pascal Dupuis, Joe Vitale, Derek Engelland, and Ben Lovejoy will be among players taking the ice with the Tomahawks. All proceeds will benefit the Pittsburgh Kids Foundation-Haiti and the Johnstown Tomahawks Foundation.
 
Tickets for the event will go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 4 and will cost $25 each.
