The postseaon is here for the No. 8 Lady Lions.

A crowd of fans helped send off top-seeded Penn State Thursday morning from the Bryce Jordan Center to the Big Ten women's basketball tournament in Hoffman Estates, Ill.

Already the back-to-back regular season champs, this current group of players is looking for its first tournament title and the school's first in more than 15 years.

"It'll be something that everybody kind of dreamed about," senior center Nikki Greene says. "You know since we've been here we were able to accomplish the Big Ten regular season title. It would be awesome to leave Penn State with a tournament title as well."

The Lady Lions will play ninth-seeded Ohio State Friday night at 7 p.m. in the conference quarterfinals.
