Visting Penn State Student Dies of Meningitis

STATE COLLEGE, CENTRE COUNTY - The West Chester University student who visited Penn State over the weekend has died of Meningitis.

Sean Casey died Wednesday night. He was admitted to Chester County Hospital on February 4th with Meningococcal Meningitis. 

Casey was on Penn State's University Park campus Friday February 1st through 3rd for a conference. 

Health officials with Penn State say only a small group of students were in close contact with Casey, those students are being treated with antibiotic therapy.
