ALTOONA, BLAIR COUNTY - Police file charges against a teen in an accidental killing.

Police charged a teenager with accidentally killing another teen the day after Christmas. The man is 18 now, but he was 17 when he accidentally shot Jesse McElhinney.

The Blair County District Attorney filed Involuntary Manslaughter, Aggravated Assault, Recklessly Endangering another Person and other charges. Because he was 17 at the time of the incident, he's being charged as a juvenile.

McEhinney's family previously said it was a tragic accident and they don't want him charged.
