ALTOONA, BLAIR COUNTY - Students were celebrating black history month at Penn State Altoona.

Sunday was the 24th annual African American Read-In. This year's theme is "From the March in to the Millennium."

People read passages from African American authors. The Read-In continues Monday at the Slep Student Center.

Hometown Heros at the Warrior Games


In this Hometown Heros segment, we catch up on the progress of some local Wounded Warriors. Last week, they were in Colorado Springs, competing with about 260 other veterans in the 7 sports of the Warrior Games.
