Local Hospital Lifts Visiting Restrictions

By: Charlotte Ames
Updated: March 5, 2013
Here's another sign that the flu is easing up in our region.

Altoona Regional Health System has lifted the visiting restrictions put in place at the height of the flu season in January. Normal visiting guidelines now apply in all units.

As always, if you feel sick, don't visit a hospital patient, especially if you have symptoms of a cold or the flu. Those signs include  fever, body aches, runny nose, sore throat and cough.
