Shelterbox Show-Off

STATE COLLEGE, CENTRE COUNTY - A Centre County charity that responds to natural disasters was showing off what they do this weekend.

The State College Sunrise Rotary Club provides emergency shelters to survivors of disasters. Each Shelterbox is tailored to the specific problems, but most contain a tent, blankets, water storage and purification equipment and other basic necessities.

Saturday afternoon they showed them off at the Nittany Mall. So far Shelterbox has responded to 170 disasters.
