Temperatures have been falling through the day as colder air moved in, with some communities in the low 20s this afternoon while others are still in the 30s. The colder air will get temps in the teens by Monday morning.
The next disturbance will move through Monday, bringing snow showers and squalls in the afternoon. Accumulations will be highest west of route 219, with 3-5" snow possible and more the closer to Lake Erie you go. Along the I-99 corridor, 1-3" snow is possible with a trace-1" to the east.
The coldest period of the week will be behind that disturbance with low temperatures in the single digits and highs in the teens. The wind chill will drop below zero during this period.
Clouds will break Thursday as temperatures warm into the 20s, but this is ahead of another disturbance that will bring more snow and possibly sleet for the overnight hours Thursday into Friday. Cold air will again flow in behind that disturbance, but temperatures for next week look to be closer to seasonal averages.\
