BROOKVILLE, JEFFERSON COUNTY - The search for a missing Brookville teen has come to a tragic end.

The body of 19 year old Devan Knapp was found around 7:00 Tuesday morning on Summerville Drive in Millcreek Township.

Her car was located near the village of Fisher where her phone was tracked to earlier in the week.

Witnesses tell WTAJ two men were driving to work when they saw the White 2013 Toyota Scion Knapp was driving when she went missing Friday night.

The men saw Knapp inside the car and called police.

Punxsutawney and Clarion County State Police say Knapp was dead inside the car when they arrived.

Police were on scene for 5 hours investigating. The investigation continues.

An autopsy is currently underway and police say they will release more information when the results are available.

Neighbors told WTAJ police told them they are not in danger.

Tuesday night at 7:00 a vigil was held in Brookville at the courthouse to remember Devan.
