State College Police Release Images of Robbery Suspects

STATE COLLEGE, CENTRE COUNTY - State College Police have released images of the three suspects involved in the Wednesday morning armed robbery of Kranich's Jewelry.

Police documents list Suspect #1 as approximately 5'8" tall, wearing a black jacket, blue jeans, shiny black shoes and a dark ball cap.

He has a round face with a full, "stubbly" beard, is missing a tooth, and is ligter-skinned than the others. He was armed with a long barrel silver handgun that appeared to be a revolver.


Police documents have Suspect #2 listed as approximately 5'8" tall, wearing a black jacket, blue jeans, shiny black shoes and a dark ball cap.

At the time of the robbery he had a deep voice and a gaiter of some sort over his face. Suspect #2 had a silver-colored revolver and carried a black Reebok bag.


According to police Suspect #3 is dark-skinned, approximately 5'11" to 6'1" tall with a large build. He was wearing a blue or black waist-length jacket with a hood.

He was also wearing a beanie cap with a logo and had his face covered. The majority of the merchandise was carried out by Suspect #3 in a large, blue or black duffle bag with a Mercedes-type logo on the side.

According to police documents, Suspect #1 referred to another suspect as "Big." They were last seen walking south in the narrow walkway between Kranich's Jewelry and the Tavern Restaurant. The walkway exits onto East Calder Way.

State College Police are asking anyone who may have information involving this incident to contact State College Police at 814-234-7150 or submit an anonymous tip online.
