Former Mifflin County Pastor Facing Sex Abuse Charges

MOUNT UNION, HUNTINGDON COUNTY - A former pastor with Cedar Crest Independent Baptist Church has been arrested and charged with aggravated indecent assault of a person less than 16 years of age, corruption of a minor, and indecent assault.
According to police documents, 56 year-old Jeffrey Winstead admitted to improperly touching a 16 year-old female on multiple occasions during a two-year span, including once inside the Cedar Crest Church.
Police documents also say the female victim has been living with the pastor at the time of the events.
