Funeral Services for Navy Sailor

JOHNSTOWN - A Johnstown Navy Sailor who died in Japan will be laid to rest Tuesday.

A viewing is being held Monday for Petty Officer 2nd Class Samuel Stiles.

Friends and family will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Harris Funeral Home on 500 Cherry Lane in Richland.

The Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Emmanuel Baptist Church.

Petty Officer Stiles died two weeks ago.

The Nature of his death is still under investigation.

The 25 year old was found face down on a train platform.

Officials say toxicology test are pending.

Stiles was stationed at the U.S. Base in Sasebo.

He joined the Navy in 2006.
