Sandy Red Cross Deployment

Linda Myers as been a Red Cross Volunteer for more than 20 years, she said there are no words to describe what its like to help others.
"You meet certain people who really touch your heart," said Myers.
Myers has been deployed all over the world from Puerto Rico to Florida and now the East Coast. She will spend the next 14 days in New Brunswick helping victims from Hurricane Sandy start again.
"I wanted to go," said Myers. "I just got back from helping victims in Hurricane Isaac backing September- but I enjoy helping others."
"The Red Cross volunteer is a unique volunteer," said Colleen Sherman, Executive Director, Keystone Chapter. "Its one who has a deep seed to help others... they're Americans' helping Americans'."
Myers plans on being back in time to celebrate Thanksgiving with her family. Even after dozens of deployments Myers said her volunteering days are far from over.
"I told my husband once he retires... we're doing this together."
