STATE COLLEGE, PA. -- Bill O'Brien named Matt McGloin the starting quarterback for the upcoming season when he met with the media before playing in the 16th Annual Coaches vs. Cancer Golf Tournament this afternoon at the Penn State Blue and White Courses. Team members who are on campus were told the news by O'Brien early this morning.

He also said Paul Jones is the No. 2 quarterback behind McGloin and that Rob Bolden is on campus and working out with the team.

O'Brien also said Curtis Drake is no longer with the team while tailback Curtis Dukes is on campus and still with the team after missing spring football to focus on academics.
