Log Truck Fatal Accident

Howard Township, Centre County - One Person died early this morning in a nasty crash.  It happened on route 150 in Howard township around 4:45 a.m.  State Police say a tractor trailer hauling logs pummeled a pickup truck that ran a stop sign coming out of Bald Eagle State Park.

The driver of the pickup-- 43 year old Russell Long of South Williamsport was killed.  A section of route 150 in that area was closed while police investigated and crews cleaned the scene.  The road reopened around 11:00 a.m.

yeah ik how ya feel chelsy this is my dad and i hate seeing that there are some heart less people out there that will post this much info on this i am 15 years old what if my lil 13 year old brother saw this!!! smh !!!

this was my uncle that was killed its so sick to know my uncle and father both passed pretty much the same way it kills me to see they post so much info on here for the world to see this should be for only family to be hearing about and its so hard to believe that my uncle ran that stop sign and hit that truck that hard and for that truck driver only get minor injures of course they can only get the truck drives info on what happen because my uncle died on the scene so of course hes gonna make it look like it was my uncles fault

i do not understand why the news media goes too far. we did not need to know that the deceased was decapitated. what if you were that persons child? it's hard enough knowing that your loved one is gone. end of story!
