WINTERSET, CAMBRIA COUNTY--- Saturday's fundraising event to honor a little girl tragically killed in October raised more than expected in just a few hours.

Autumn Danchanko was hit and killed in the family's driveway.  The two year old's family wanted to give back after the overwhelming support they received from the community.  They created "Autumns Angel's" a foundation to help give back and keep their daughters memory alive.    They plan to build parks and playgrounds

A basket raffle was held Saturday to raise money for the foundation; more than $17,000 was raised.

The family has teamed up with Community Foundation of the Alleghenies.  Together they've created Autumn's Angels Foundation.  Initially the funds may be used to build or revitalize playgrounds and eventually provide a common place, a sanctuary, that families can call their place of healing.  All donations are tax deductible through the Community Foundation.  For more information about it, contact Dana Danchanko at 814-419-8164
