PITTSBURGH, PA - On Monday the Steelers announced plans to tender offers to receiver Mike Wallace and five other restricted free agents. Wallace received a tender offer of $2.7 million, which is the highest offer of all of the Steelers restricted free agents. If Wallace receives a higher offer from another team and the Steelers choose not to match that offer, Pittsburgh will receive a first round pick as compensation.

The Steelers also tendered offers to guards Doug Legursky and Ramon Foster, cornerback Keenan Lewis, safety Ryan Mundy and tight end David Johnson.
