The Penn State mens basketball team wants to be a consistent power in the Big Ten. Wednesday the Nittany Lions took one of those powers to the brink of defeat as seventh ranked Michigan State watched a 17 point lead over the Lions dwindle to one with just over one minute to play. The end result, the Spartans escaped with a five point victory and the Nittany Lions gained confidence heading into the remainder of their Big Ten schedule.
