JOHNSTOWN, CAMBRIA COUNTY - Parents of students at Bishop McCort High School in Johnstown want answers and they're planning a meeting for Monday night to try and get them.

Friday the McCort Board of Trustees announced that the High School Principal Ken Salem had been put on administrative leave. They didn't give any reason why, they just said the Assistant Principal would be taking over in the meantime.

Earlier last week an attorney for the victims of Brother Stephen Baker sued the school among several other local institutions. Baker was a teacher and coach there several years ago; former students have come forward saying they were molested by Baker. Baker committed suicide in January.

Again the McCort Board of Trustees didn't list that as a reason why Ken Salem was put on administrative leave But Salem's lawyer said in a statement his client knew nothing about Baker.

So McCort parents want to know what is going on. Students and parents plan to meet Monday night at the Richland Fire Hall. They plan to request a formal meeting with the school board.
