The state house approved bill 316 this week. Under the proposed law, it would force everyone convicted of a crime in Pennsylvania to pay an extra 15 dollar fine. The money raised would go to fund child advocacy centers throughout the state.
The house also passed bills to keep better records on children involving protection from abuse orders, increase punishments on adults who hurt children, and increase punishments on witness intimidation.
