INDIANA, PA - Dozens of soldiers from the 420th Engineering Company arrived at the IUP campus Wednesday after nearly a year away from their loved ones.

The Army ROTC Program from IUP helped welcome their fellow soldiers home Wednesday afternoon and there were a lot of happy people here waiting for them. Soldiers from the 420th were escorted from Pittsburgh to the IUP campus. And when they marched into the field house they got their real welcome home. Every where you looked in the field house families were reuniting.

It's a long way away from the year they spent in Afghanistan where the soldiers went on 480 mission clearing bombs and other IED's from the roads. And despite the danger the entire company made it home.
