ALTOONA, BLAIR COUNTY - Deer hunters are getting ready to bag their buck.

The state estimates 750 thousand people will be out in the woods starting Monday morning for the two week general deer season.

Antler restrictions are about the same as last year. In our area rifles are legal for this deer season, but you can't hunt within 150 yards of an occupied building. Starting this year hunters don't have to have their licenses tagged on the outside of their clothes, but you still need to have it with you.

The Game Commission Website has all you need to know about this year's deer season.
