Ficken Showing Improvement

(State College, Pa) - It's been a turn around worth noting for Penn State sophomore kicker Sam Ficken. After that dreadful afternoon at Virginia in Week 2 where he missed 4 of 5 field goals as well as an extra point, Ficken has come back around.
He went 3 for 3 on field goals in Saturday's loss at Nebraska, and has nailed 8 of his last 9 overall.
Bill O'Brien is noticing a slight change in Ficken's mechanics.
