Man Faces Charges After Thinking Girl Was Skunk

The man that shot a family member thinking she was a skunk has been charged in the state.

Thomas Grant of Mercer County faces counts of aggravated assault, reckless endangerment, and simple assault. 

The girl his eight year old cousin remains in critical condition after being struck in the arm, back, neck and shoulder over the weekend. 

Police say the child was wearing a black and white Halloween costume when the 24 year old mistook her for a skunk and opened fire with her 12-guage shot gun.

Good. This man is obviously an idiot. He should never be permitted to own another firearm either. Contact the Pennsylvania Game Commission, maybe they can tack on a few more charges.
