Alleged Rape in Clearfield County

CLEARFIELD, CLEARFIELD COUNTY - Between March 2010 and 2011, State Police say Christopher Reams of Glen Hope allegedly molested an 8 year old boy and a 5 year old girl that he met through a past relationship.
Reports state the children both told police Reams touched them. October 5, 2012, he was arrested and is now in the Clearfield County Jail on $200,000 bail.
Wednesday his family went to the jail for his preliminary hearing.
They stated they do not feel he did this and until they see the evidence they will not believe it.
In the meantime, District Attorney William Shaw Jr. states he has enough evidence to comfortably take the case to trial and he believes a jury would convict Reams.
At this time, Reams states he is not guilty and a plea deal is not on the table. He remains in jail.
