PA Unemployment Rate July

Unemployment in Pennsylvania went up in the month of July.  The Department of Labor and Industry say the rate increased three-tenths of a percentage point to 7.9%. This is the biggest monthly jump since 20-09 and it is the second consecutive month that the rate has increased.  Pennsylvania rate is still below the national average of 8.3 percent.
