UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - The Big Ten Network will air some of the Nittany Lions' most memorable victories and conference championships on Wednesday and Thursday, July 11-12, with 22 consecutive hours of Penn State programming.

The Penn State men's basketball, field hockey, football and wrestling teams will be featured on the second of three Penn State Days this summer on BTN. Penn State Day begins Wednesday at 8 a.m. and ends Thursday at 6:30 a.m. The Nittany Lions also will be featured on BTN on August 2 with different programming.

Penn State Day begins Wednesday at 8 a.m. with the field hockey team's 3-2 win over Michigan in the championship match of the 2011 Big Ten Tournament.

Episodes of Big Ten's Greatest Games featuring the Nittany Lions will air throughout Wednesday. At 5:30 p.m., Penn State's last minute 19-17 win over LSU in the 2010 Capital One Bowl will air, followed at 7:30 p.m. by the Nittany Lions' 26-23 triple overtime win over Florida State in the 2006 FedEx Orange Bowl. At 9:30 p.m., Penn State's 29-27 comeback win over Ohio State from the 2001 season will air on BTN.

A pair of memorable Nittany Lion basketball victories will air Wednesday, starting at 1 p.m. with the 68-64 win over Indiana from the 2008 season. Penn State's home win over No. 15 Wisconsin from the 2010-11 NCAA Tournament season airs at 3:30 p.m.

the Penn State wrestling team captured its second consecutive Big Ten Championship this past March and the 2012 conference championship meet will air Wednesday at 10 a.m. and 11:30 p.m. Two weeks after winning its second straight Big Ten title, Penn State captured its second consecutive NCAA Wrestling Championship. Cael Sanderson was selected by BTN as the conference's 2011-12 Men's Coach of the Year and the Penn State wrestlers were chosen the Men's Team of the Year.

The Big Ten Network televised more than 110 Penn State events during 2011-12, in addition to coverage of 15 Big Ten Championships and institutional programming. Twenty-five Penn State squads were featured amongst BTN's more than 800 events in 2011-12.

BTN is available to more than 80 million homes through agreements with more than 300 cable, satellite and telco providers in all 50 states and Canada.  Adams and Blue Ridge Cable in Pennsylvania, though, do not carry the Big Ten Network. The network also is not available to Armstrong Cable customers in western Pennsylvania and the Medina and Youngstown, Ohio areas. A combined total of more than 35,000 Penn State alumni live in communities served by the three cable providers, in addition to thousands more fans and current Penn State students.
