Last Friday, Mitt Romney met with Rick Santorum in Pittsburgh for a private one-on-one meeting.  While the issue of a "formal" endorsement did not come up at the personal meeting, Santorum stated in a blog on his campaign website that Mitt Romney "...has my [Rick Santorum's] endorsement and support to win this the most critical election of our lifetime."  Santorum goes on to say that he intends to keep lines of communication open with Mitt Romney and looks forward to working together to defeat President Obama this November.
