Penn State Softball Sweeps Northwestern

(UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa.) -- On Senior Day, Penn State softball finished a two-game sweep of Northwestern with a 3-2 win as they win their fifth straight game to close out the regular season and await their NCAA Tournament fate.

In the bottom of the fourth, Lauren Rossi hit her first homerun of the season to give the Nittany Lions the 3-2 lead.

Penn State will find out if they make it into the NCAA Tournament and whether they will host a regional starting this Thursday or Friday on the ESPNU selection show on Sunday night at 10 p.m.
