A ridge of high pressure settling over the region will give us beautiful weather this weekend. Sunshine will turn a chilly morning into a milder afternoon on Saturday. The mercury will return to near 50. Sunday will be even milder despite sunshine mixing with some clouds. Temperatures will rise into the 50s on Sunday with some spots west of Route 219 making a run toward 60. The next front will thicken clouds on Monday with some showers or a period of rain developing. This front may be close enough to bring clouds and perhaps showers early Tuesday but then the clouds will break for some sunshine Tuesday afternoon. It will still be a bit cooler with highs in the 40s. Wednesday and thursday will be seasonably cool with clouds and sunshine. There's a slight chance for a couple of showers or flurries each day but as of right now it looks fairly dry. There will be a better chance for a period of light snow or snow showers to close out the end of the next work.
