Local Teen Attending "Scoliosis Boot Camp"

ALLEGHENY TOWNSHIP, BLAIR COUNTY - A local girl plans to go through an alternative treatment for her scoliosis.

Samantha Aungst, 16, from Tyrone is in marching band, swims and plays softball.  In less than two weeks she is going to a "Scoliosis Boot Camp" in Lancaster.

Her family said this boot camp will help fix her more naturally and with no operations.They will be at the Sam's Club in Altoona Friday from 10 am until 6 pm attempting to raise the $7,000 for her treatment by selling home interior items and candy.
