Ganter Steps Down

STATE COLLEGE, CENTRE COUNTY - After nearly five decades at Penn State a well known face on campus has announced his retirement.  

Fran Ganter a former Penn State athlete, coach and administrator will retire as of Thursday.

Ganter is most recently remembered as the man who carried the infamous letter which led to the firing of long time football coach Joe Paterno.  

Ganter is also a member of the Pennsylvania sports hall of fame having been inducted back in 2010.
